"This product is simply amazing!"
We use this item in our yard to keep worms, fleas, ticks, and other critters at bay. Luckily, we haven't had any dogs come down with worms or related problems at our place, all thanks to the regular application of this product. Although it's required for all clients to show a negative fecal test before bringing their pets in, sometimes folks forget to stay on top of preventive care. This product really helps us ensure the safety of the pets we look after.

"After using Wondercide, my pup stopped scratching and relaxed on his bed."
My dog was itching, so I applied the spray, worked it in, and he quickly stopped scratching and looked totally relaxed. Usually, I'd be concerned, but I know he's all good (I've had dogs for over 50 years). I think this product is gonna be fantastic.

"Thoughts on Wondercide's Peppermint Flea and Tick Spray"
I just got my hands on the Peppermint Flea and Tick spray for my two chihuahuas, and I gotta say, I’m really impressed with how well it works. This stuff has been a total lifesaver in dealing with those pesky fleas and ticks. First off, the peppermint scent is super nice. It not only keeps the bugs away but also makes the place smell fresh. Unlike other sprays I've tried before, this one doesn’t have that harsh chemical odor. However, when I sprayed one of my chihuahuas, she started shaking and hiding right away. I got worried and waited about an hour before I took the spray off completely. Oddly enough, my other chihuahua didn’t have any problems at all. Now, I’m wondering if there’s a way to dilute this solution and what I should mix in to do that.

"A Better Name for This Product Would Be 'Peticide.'"
I know enough to realize that spraying anything directly on a cat that isn’t from a medically-researched line isn’t safe. Remember that failed attempt by Sergeants to create a more 'natural' flea treatment? It ended up harming animals. Many natural substances, like arsenic, can be toxic. Just because something is labeled 'natural' doesn’t mean it’s safe for you or your pet to ingest or breathe in.

I picked up Wondercide at Home Depot, thinking it would help keep some non-washable items in my home, like area rugs and throw pillows, flea-free after a cat visitor scare. They don’t claim their product is all-natural, but they do say it’s 'non-harsh,' which suggests it’s made from natural ingredients.

But let me tell you, the product is super harsh, just from the strong smell. Even though I haven’t tasted it, think about how cats and dogs are always licking their fur. Contrary to what another reviewer said about a different Wondercide product, which had a warning saying 'not for use on cats,' my bottle clearly states it’s for use on and around cats. The 'Wondercide Flea and Tick Pets and Home' lemongrass-scented spray claims to 'Kill, Repel, and Prevent Fleas, Ticks, and Mosquitos,' and it specifically mentions using it on dogs and cats. Plus, it says 'pH balanced for dogs and cats,' which would lead anyone to think it’s safe for their cats. There are several other mentions of using Wondercide directly on dogs and cats.

But I strongly recommend against it. My eight cats won’t go near anything sprayed with Wondercide anymore. The smell is so strong that even after washing a small, fluffy area rug they used to love, they now steer clear of it. One of my cats coughed for five minutes after sniffing the first thing I sprayed, a pillow-bed for cats. It’s now unusable. The scent of Wondercide just won’t go away.

I’m not shocked that many folks on various sites have had medical emergencies after applying or inhaling Wondercide on their pets.

For crying out loud, it’s perfectly okay to use a chemical product to repel and eliminate parasites. Often, the benefits of preventing an infestation or health issues outweigh the risks of using a chemical product. Just like chemotherapy for cancer, which can be really tough but is necessary. You gotta weigh the risks and benefits.

I’ve been using a chemical-filled product called Flea 5X (from PetMeds) for over a decade on my usual crew of 7 to 9 house cats. They stay incredibly healthy and flea-free. You apply it monthly behind their necks. The product works great, and my vet says it has everything needed to kill fleas and flea eggs, plus it interrupts the life cycles of other parasites like ticks. There are plenty of other solid chemical products like Revolution, Bravecto, etc., that have been researched for years to prove their safety and effectiveness for cats. Why would anyone opt for a 'non-harsh' Wondercide perfume, essentially, without any animal trials showing it actually kills fleas and is safe?

Moreover, the instructions on Wondercide keep saying to use it as often as needed, even daily! In contrast, flea treatments sold by Chewy, vets, PetMeds, and others are usually applied monthly or, for some pricier ones, every 2 or 3 months. Flea 5X costs $9 per dose and lasts a full month or longer. When prices drop, my husband buys a year’s worth at $7 per dose!

In short, my advice is to stay away from Wondercide.

"This product is simply amazing!"
I got this item to spray my yard and tackle those pesky mosquitoes. Down here in Texas, summers can be sweltering and sticky, with hardly a breeze in sight. I look after some feral cats, and they often chill in my yard, getting swarmed by mosquitoes, especially around their faces. But after using Wondercide and sticking to their guidelines, I saw results right away. It’s been super effective for both me and my cats. Just to be clear, I’m not getting paid or anything for this review. Usually, I don’t write reviews, but while I was hunting for an indoor solution, I noticed the feedback wasn’t as glowing as it ought to be. I didn’t want folks to overlook a great product just because they stumbled upon some lower ratings. Maybe some of those negative reviews came from the same person, but who knows? Plus, I haven’t seen any fleas on my feral cats. The ones that let me handle them definitely don’t have any fleas.

"First time trying this product."
Today, I used wondercide on both my pups. But just a couple of hours later, one of them got really sick, showing signs of stomach pain and acting all weird for the rest of the day. The other dog also had a bad case of diarrhea. I can't say for sure that wondercide caused this, but it feels pretty strange that both dogs would have tummy troubles at the same time, especially since they've never had issues like this before.

"This product is a must-buy!"
I've never found anything that works as quickly and effectively against fleas. After trying two flea bombs that did absolutely nothing, I opted for the smallest bottle of this product. Within just two weeks, every last flea was gone. What’s even cooler is that it’s safe for kids, pregnant women, bees, and birds. You can even spray it on your hands and chow down right after without any concerns. It’s definitely the safest option out there, as long as your pet doesn’t have an allergic reaction. I totally recommend this product to everyone, as it not only wipes out fleas but also takes care of hundreds of other pests.

"Struggles with Fleas and Tick Spray"
We got ourselves the lemongrass flea and tick spray for our dog. Right off the bat, he absolutely hates it and bolts to hide under the table. Sadly, he’s still dealing with fleas and seems to be losing hair in some spots. While we can't say for sure that this spray is the main culprit, it sure feels like it. So, we’re probably not gonna buy this product again. On top of that, we picked up a small bottle of insect repellent for ourselves, but it didn’t really do the trick either.

"Wondercide Came to My Rescue! This stuff is truly fantastic."
In our household, I was the sole victim of relentless bites from fleas, bedbugs, mosquitoes, and spiders. We explored every option out there, even bringing in professionals, but nothing did the trick. Then, we found this incredible product that I now call my hidden guardian. Seriously, it has brought back my peace of mind. I can't express how thankful I am from the bottom of my heart. Much appreciated!

"Overhyped and Not Worth It"
I bought their 16 oz outdoor pest control concentrate to tackle the mosquitoes swarming in our backyard. I stuck to the directions exactly, but sadly, it didn’t work as I had hoped. Honestly, I think this product is way overhyped and too pricey, since it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. I won’t be buying it again.

"This product is highly overrated."
I purchased their 16 oz outdoor pest control concentrate specifically for our mosquito-infested backyard. I followed the instructions precisely, but unfortunately, it did not deliver the desired results. In my opinion, this product is highly overrated and overpriced, as it fails to fulfill its intended purpose. I will not be making another purchase of it in the future.

"Concerns Regarding Product Packaging"
I gotta say, the packaging for this item really needs some work. It was super flimsy and not well thought out. When it got to me, it was already damaged, and some of the stuff had spilled out. That's just not cool and shows a lack of care from the company about their quality. I really hope they take this to heart and make some changes moving forward.

One of the little bottles had a seal that just didn’t hold up, and it leaked all over the box during transit. It might be a good idea for the folks packing these to check the seals before sending them out. Just to be clear, this review is all about the packaging and shipping issues, not the product itself.

"I have a complaint about the packaging of this product. The packaging is extremely flimsy and poorly designed. It arrived damaged and the contents were partially spilled out. This is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's attention to detail and quality control. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their packaging in the future."
One of the small bottles' seal did not hold, and it leaked inside and through the box during shipping. It might be beneficial for the packers to inspect the seals before shipping. Please note that this review focuses solely on the packaging and shipping, and not on the product itself.

"Misleading Labels Led to the Heartbreaking Loss of Three Kittens, Yet the Company Denies Accountability"
I picked up this item from a pet shop, drawn in by its straightforward label claiming it was safe for both animals and humans. The label also highlighted that Wondercide was created to safeguard pets, people, and homes using natural ingredients rather than harsh chemicals. It was signed by Stephanie and Luna, showcasing the company's dedication to families everywhere.

Given this info, I figured the product would be a gentle and safe choice for my cats and kittens. I was battling fungal infections in my cattery, so stumbling upon a mild and safe solution felt like a win.

Out of the four kittens I had, three started showing signs of the fungal infection. When they were about three weeks old, I treated these three with Wondercide Skin Tonic Oil. But by the time they hit four weeks, two of them looked dehydrated, and tragically, one didn’t make it. I rushed the second dehydrated kitten to the vet, but despite our best efforts to rehydrate it, it also passed away.

Another kitten from the group stopped eating, so I went back to the vet for help. X-rays showed that this little one had an enlarged liver and was anemic. The vet gave shots for the anemia, and I began force-feeding the kitten two to three times daily. While it survived, it never really bounced back to its usual self. After weeks of trying to help, it eventually passed away.

Only one kitten from that litter pulled through.

On August 3, 2020, I contacted Wondercide to let them know about the problems their product caused for my kittens. I shared the X-rays, and they consulted with my vet. However, Wondercide ultimately washed their hands of the situation, pointing to the fine print on the label that said "Not for use on cats."

While this might shield Wondercide legally, it doesn’t excuse their clear negligence in misleading customers with their labeling. I strongly recommend steering clear of this company if you care about the well-being of your furry friends.

"Flea and Tick Spray Review"
I don't usually write reviews, but I think it's important to let folks know that these products aren't entirely safe. Just like any medical item, they come with risks, so it's vital to be careful and watch for any bad reactions before using them. Now, let me tell you about my experience. I have three dogs: a 16-year-old border collie, an 8-month-old German shepherd, and a 13-year-old blue tick. I used this spray on all of them, and within 15 minutes, my border collie started showing signs of ataxia and rapid eye movement. To put it simply, he was stumbling and couldn't focus his eyes. I quickly washed him with Dawn soap, but sadly, he's still dealing with serious symptoms. While the eye movement has gotten a bit better after a day, the other issues are still there. Right now, we can only give him supportive care, making sure he stays hydrated and his body temperature is okay. It's really tough to see him like this because he was a healthy older dog, just managing some mild aches. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for his recovery.

Wondercide Q&A

I can't open the bottle to refill it with the concentrate. Even tried to open the bottle with a pair of pliers

Has this worked for anyone for more than 30 minutes? I am extremely disappointed with this product as I am only experiencing protection for a maximum of 30 minutes.
